Chitwan means the ‘Heart of the Jungle’ – One of the finest place to have fun & enjoy the life in a natural environment. The main attraction of this place is ‘Chitwan National Park’ with large forest regions with wildlife such as rare one-horned Rhinoceros, different species of deer, bear, fresh water dolphin, crocodile, more then 350 species of birds and the elusive Bengal Tiger. Major enjoyments inside the park includes Elephant back excursions, nature walks, canoe trips, jungle treks etc.
This is going to be my second visit to this place. First visit was before nearly 4 months. At that time we were just three (Bkash, Bpin & Meeeee) but the enjoyment was wonderful.
Nearly 165 KM overland from Kathmandu. We have stared our tour at around 7.00 Hrs. We are more than 20 singing, shouting & enjoying in the cute college bus. Nothing is scheduled, but no worry ‘Je sukai ho oos … room napaye bus mai sutaunla ni…’ lets see katijana bus ma sutna manda raichhan…
The highway drive from Ktm. to Chitwan is filled with thrilling views of the hills, rivers and plains with jungles on either side.
What a bad news! Tarai is in Strike today! but let’s see we could make our to chitwan or not. If we made it I suppose, first visit will be ‘Devghat’, a popular pilgrimage spot situated at the confluence of the Kali Gandaki & Trishuli Rivers. It lies just north of the National Park and its a place to take holy dips in the river.
I can’t say the actual time but then after we will move to ‘Sauraha’ which is inside the National Park and the central point of all excitements.
If the strikes continues then we need to think of another place may be Bandipur or somewhere else. But no decision yet. ‘Mugling samma jaun ani je garnuparchhja garaunla’…
I am deeply in Love with a black object. I have passion on it. I want that to be always with me, but nowadays I am missing another one, I want that to be bigger & with advanced quality, one day I will manage it.
Cheers guys,
🙂
