What can you do to help the Japan earthquake and tsunami relief efforts?

Let’s put our hands together and help to the people of Japan who are badly affected by 9.0 Earthquake and tSunami after that. This is not just an issue of Japanese peoples. It’s our issue because we have loved-ones, friends and co-workers there. They desperately need our help and support. The world is supporting them from every corner.

Wherever we are, from any part of the world, we can help them, what we need is the strong determination. There are various ways to help them who are getting suffered .

Twitter, Facebook and other social networks are helping to spread the word to HELP the victims. On Twitter, many Twitter account holders are offering to donate one dollar to the Red Cross every time some one retweets their message about texting aid for Japan. Facebook fan page for Disaster Relief is also supporting them, each likes on the page give certain amount to the victims.

If you are at USA, Here are agencies you can text to donate and help Japan:

1. Convoy of Hope, text TSUNAMI to 50555 to donate $10.
2. American Red Cross Relief, text REDCROSS to 90999 to donate $10.
3. World Relief Corp. of National Association of Evangelicals, text WAVE to 50555 to donate $10.
4. GlobalGiving, text JAPAN to 50555 to donate $10.
5. Salvation Army: Text JAPAN or QUAKE to 80888 to make a $10 donation. The Japan branch of the Salvation Army is working to help stranded people find shelter in Japan.

When prompted, mobile donors should reply with YES to confirm a one-time gift. The $10 one-time donation will appear on your next mobile bill.

You can donate the amount you want via online services. There are number of organization’s which accept the donations and deliver it to the peoples really needs them. But you have to be sure that you are donating for the right organization.
